The Police Service Commission has appointed Assistant Inspector General of Police Jonathan Towuru as the new Deputy Inspector General of Police representing the South-South geopolitical zone. The PSC spokesperson, Ikechukwu Ani, in a statement on Wednesday, said Towuru would succeed DIG Daniel Pedro, who retired as the DIG in charge of Information and Communications Technology.
