The Anambra State Association of Town Unions, Youth Wing otherwise known as ASATU Youth, in a general meeting at the Asatu Secretariat, Government House, Awka completed it’s constitution review by observing the third and final reading of the constitution.
The number one youth association of the state after several months of consultations, reviews and meetings have finally adopted a standard document to stir the association towards the right direction with a new vision framework.
The one hundred and seventy-nine community youth leaders in Anambra State including the leadership of the lady organizers that represents the entire youths of Anambra State supported the amendment and were in attendance for the final reading and adoption of the constitution.
Comrade Onyedika Mbanugo, elected youth leader of Umudioka moved the motion for adoption of the constitution while Chief Nnalue Stephen of Enugu Out- Aguleri seconded the motion.
The ASATU Youth President General, Comrade Ken Okoli expressed joy that his administration as promised has delivered a standard constitution that will structure, strengthen and position ASATU Youth to give every youth of Anambra State both indigenes and non-indigenes, Anambra youths living outside Anambra and in diaspora sense of belonging while ensuring youth development.

He said that a visionary ASATU Youth will serve as a catalyst to the State Government in delivering good governance to the grassroots for a livable and prosperous homeland.
Comrade Okoli also extended his appreciation to the Constitution Review Committee and all other persons who in one way or the other contributed to actualizing the constitution review and amendment which he described as a landmark stroke for his administration.
